Accessibility Statement

Scope and aim

Nova Blueprint offers free English guides, planners and template downloads. We aim to make the website and files usable by people with disabilities. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is our engineering target for the website; we do not claim the whole website or all files currently conform to that level.

Review performed

A baseline review on 7 November 2026 included automated axe-core tests of the home page, Privacy page and four product pages, HTML/source checks of language, headings, image/link naming and landmarks, CSS focus/reduced-motion inspection, calculations of selected colour contrast pairs and PDF metadata inspection. Automated testing cannot establish full accessibility; interactive keyboard, screen-reader, zoom/reflow and all document testing remain necessary.

The automated checks reported zero issues across those six pages at the tested desktop and narrow window sizes. These results do not replace human testing or establish full conformance. No screen-reader or hands-on keyboard session has been performed yet.

Features present

The pages specify English, contain descriptive headings and a main-content landmark, and use named navigation. Product images have text alternatives; decorative homepage covers are in links with accessible names. Links have a visible keyboard-focus outline, and the site respects a reduced-motion preference. Selected normal text/button colour combinations exceed WCAG AA contrast requirements. These observations are not a conformance claim about every element or state.

Known limitations

All eight downloadable PDFs are untagged: the Letter and A4 editions of the Job Search System and Move in 8 Weeks guides, their two sample-chapter PDFs, the Home Maintenance Log HowTo, and the Start Here Quick Guide (Start_Here_Quick_Guide.pdf) inside the Job Search Tracker ZIP. Their reading order, headings, table semantics and accessibility need remediation and testing. EPUB, spreadsheet and CSV editions are available for some content, but have not all been verified as equivalent accessible alternatives. Keyboard operation, focus visibility behind the sticky header, mobile reflow/zoom and screen-reader use need further practical testing. The website currently has no explicit skip-to-main-content link; main landmarks provide a navigation aid in compatible assistive technology.

Planned improvements

We plan to remediate and tag the downloadable PDFs, test the other formats, add an explicit skip link and keep an accessibility contact and alternative-format process. No completion dates have been set yet.

Widgets

We do not use an accessibility overlay as a compliance solution. Source-level accessibility and accessible downloadable files are the intended approach.
